Moonlight bulb

does anyone here use one of those moonlight bulbs for their kings? I forget the exact brand name, they also have the DayGlo bulbs. I know it isnt NEEDED but it cant do any harm right? it just simulates the moonlight. I might just get it as a sorta novelty item.

I tried one a couple of years ago on one of my Cals. It was neat for my viwing pleasure, but I didn't notice any benefits/side-effects from the snake's point of view. It's nice to be able to watch them at night without flicking the lights on and freaking them out, and I think they look better than the red lights(more like moonlight, less like a holding bin at KFC :)).

ok great..i think i will go for it then. I would be nice to see him moving around at night without disturbing him. Hes right by my bed so i may be up late now lol

i just went and got it. It was only $6.21 cdn so thats not bad. Its just one of the 15W ones. Im at my dads till sunday so i cant set it up till then.
