Hey!
I was wondering how u guys lock the lids on ur rubbermaids..
What is the best place to make some holes in them for Fresh air to get in.......

Pics will help me out alot..
Thanks

Largest rubbermaid I own is I believe 40"x24", not exactly sure. I make holes on all four sides (not the top), however many needed per environment. Obviously the more humid you want it, the less holes you will need versus a desert setup. I posted this in a thread earlier... I use either binder clips or "S"- hooks to secure the lids. One the 40" long ones, I use 3 sets of S-hooks on the long sides, and I find the short ends do fine with the locking system they already have.

I put the holes in the rubbermaid on the all four sides and closer to the top of the lid, kinda like in Linds pic. Hope this helps :D

Hey LINDS
I am not clear what u mean my the s clips.....On the pic i see ur using 1 but i dont see how it works.
Can u clear that up for me :)

The S clip threads through a hol both on the lip and edge of the lid acting like a padlock.
As for my method, i stack them in multiples of 2 and run a bungy cord from underneath the lip of the bottom container over the lid of the top container and back down the other side.
