Well you can put some moisten'd moss in his hide box...Also gently misting the enclosure will also help.

I suggest putting in a wet hide rather than trying to constantly keep the entire enclosure humid. Although misting will help.

I get sphagnum moss at the pet store but I think you can also get it at garden stores. I rinse it thoughly and put it in an apropriate sized container (margirine tub) with a hole cut out for an entrance. I make sure that it's soaking wet and I leave 1/4" of water in with the moss.

My BP likes to poop in his humid hide and I have to clean it out ASAP because that really stinks. If he does not poop in there and it starts to dry out, I just rinse it off and reuse it until he finishes his shed.

I think it should be okay with it's water bowl, too. It should be big enough for him to sit in, and it seems like a lot of snakes raise their own humidity by sitting in their water.

I agree with everyone here, try it out, and decide what works best for your ball. Good Luck.

I just mist my bp 2 -4 times daily, and when I see that he is getting ready to go into shed I just mist more often and usually fill up a ten gallon tank about 3 times the width of his body, and let him take about a 20-30 min swim! lol That usually does the trick for my Bp.

what i do is just put tin foil on top of the top, and it holds humidity really well. Its always a perfect shed when i do that.

When i notice mine is going to shed, i also mist him, i tried giving him a humid hide, but he never used it, he never uses his water bowl either, maybe to take a drink from it, but he does his best to stay away from it. His shed came off in large pieces, but it still came off in pieces. The humidity was around 70-80 for a short time. I also put a towel over the top to keep the wetness in. Good Luck
