and here is my question : how do i house a 3-4 month old panther, until it can be put into his adult cage? and is there a 'rubbermaid' terrerium idea? the breeder mentioned it - let me know -Jason
You can keep it in a tank (20 gal high) for another couple months, then you can put it in its adult cage!
Give us pics soon!

Jason-
I cant stress this enough! NO TANKS AFTER 3 MONTHS. NO NO NO. Keep him in a screen cage period. House him just like you would an adult panther, but just in a smaller cage. NO TANKS. You are asking for problems with tanks. Hope this helps!

If you are stuck for a screen cage for him while he is still little, You can take a big rubbermaid, or similar, cut out the sides and hot glue gun screening over the openings. Its cheap, keeps crix in, and gives the essential air flow. Also do the same on the lid, so your UV light gets in.
I used this method when I had many baby Pardalis hatching, and needed room to house them until they could be sold.
