Hey
I know what to look for on a leo to determine if its male or female, but iwas wondering how old, or how big do they have to be. Im not sure on my leos ages but if anyone could tell me how big they have to be that would help alot, thanks
i had this same question, they need to be around 5 inches or longer to be sexed, and u have to look for the hemi-p3nis and all that, there u go

Actually some mature early and some don't. While it should be possible to tell at 3-5 months, some develope later, around 6-8 months, but size has no bearing on this. I have some of my babies who are 7 weeks and they already are quite definately male. They cannot be probed so you need visual confirmation and you need to look for the hemi-penal bulge and pre-anal pores. Pre-anal pores on males are visible just before the vent at the tail base. They are dark dots in a V shape. Females may have them, but they will be tiny and light, sometimes not visible a t all. I hope this helps you out,
Julie B.

Luna is not even two months old and she (?) is already 5 inches long. But I doubt I could tell her (?) sex yet. I look and so far she seems female.
