View Full Version : White Line Gecko EGGS
Well I woke up this morning and went to check on my massive female to find her all deflated with a pair of huge eggs beside her. So seeing as they are stuck to the wall I went and got some moss, a margarine container and some tape and secured it to the wall over the eggs.
My question is, what are the proper temps and humidity for the eggs? Also, how long will they take to hatch? This is my first time attampting to breed white lines and I would really love it to work out.
Thanks, Jeff
u should go out and buy some vermiculite and a chicken incubator(that doesnt roll) then get a razorblade and carefully seperate the eggs from th wall, then without changing the way the eggs were layd, put the eggs about half way into the vermiculite(which sould be in a tuperwear or some sort) and then u put them in the incubator, im sorry but i dont kno the right temps for a white line gecko, i bet u can find it on the internet though
good luck
Ben
Well Ive heard that you should not attemp to cut the eggs out, and I'd prefer to just leave them in, I have a mixture of vermiculite and moss in the container taped to the glass and the temperature is right, now my only problem is Keeping up humidity.

I would say, if they container is taped to the wall, humidity will have a hard time escaping from the container itself. I'd spray the inside if the container and then tape it back to the wall. I would also highly reccomend getting a hygrometer to the inside of the container, that way you can spray again, if and when needed.

Never try to remove them. You were right with the moss and margerine tub taped to the wall. Keep the temps around 80 or so and the humidity should be fine if you mist the cage once a day

That sounds good jeff... Wouldn't it make sense to NOT put them in the vermiculite if they are layed ABOVE ground? maybe its just me... Anyway, good luck jeff!
