disinfecrting

i just got a few grape vines and some hollowed out logs and i have them in a bleach solution to disinfect them.

the thing is every time i do this the wood stinks like bleach no matter how i clean it.
is there a way to remove that smell??

If you are going to use a bleach solution, make sure that is is not very storng. If I do use bleach I use less than 5%.

For your already bleached wood, try repeatedly soaking with clean water and/or lots of running water. Let it air out for a long time. Outside would be good.
