I have a pair but they arent for sale (I will be mating them as soon as the female molts)
This isnt a cheap or easy species to get in Canada but I will keep an ear to the ground for you though... I am well connected in the spider world.

$99 is way to much to pay for a baby! Check with Glade's.

My prices are in Canadian dollars so it would actually be much cheaper than Swift's plus you won't need to pay the $55usd UFW permit if you choose to import from the states. We are based in Canada and ship nationwide.
Take care,

I got two of these guys from Arachnomania just over a month ago. Very nice, and growing well. Just moving both of them to one size larger enclosures today, as a matter of fact.

They are 2-2 1/2" but sorry to inform you that I do not ship to the states. I replyed to this tread because it was started by a Canadian who was interested.
Sorry for the false lead.

sorry to inform you that I do not ship to the states.
The price seemed high, so I was just wondering you had adults. =) Don’t think you would sell any 2” for $75 down this was anyhow. But good luck to you up there.

For Canadian dollars I am by far the cheapest in Canada as that is equal to $45 USD. Swift's, I am told sells them for $50USD. Other Canadian dealers sell them for $100 CAD minimum and I've never seen them lower than that. I've honestly seen them as HIGH as $250 in a pet shop. Is that ridiculous or what? I also give nice deals to those who buy in large quantity of any species. Above all, let's please keep this thread a debate and not an argument altough it hasn't got to that point yet. I'm just saying this because I've seen other's get real ugly.
Take care,

Where do you get them for $20?? It would be hard to beleive that they sell for that price retail. There is also a $55USD UFW permit to be able to export to Canada or anywhere for that matter. So please let us all know where OH where can we find a $20 baby goliath at retail price. Oh and just for the record, I sell my Parabuthus Transvaalicus for $50-$55 which would be roughly $30USD. Hey, If you can start supplying me cheaper than my suppliers, please feel free to send me your price list whichever way you want. And if for any reason tou can't supply me you could be so kind as to send me the link of the supplier in question. I also sell wholesale and large order discounts so please keep this in mind.

I guess its all supply and demand. $45 USD down here will buy an adult. But you are the cheapest up there, then that is the market. =) I like to see sellers make a little money, so I really do wish you well.

Well I am my own supplier........ Not only do I breed bitis but I also deal in a few spiders and scorpions....... I do not do it for the cash....... It is my hobby....... Something I love to do....... I do not sell everything I breed....... And when I do sell to make room it is way under the going price....... The wholesaler I do buy from once in a while only does local sales...... By local I mean within the US....... And he his VERY cheap and I hand pick the adults I want.......

Me and others reading this post (possibly americans) still don't know where we can get a hold of those $20 baby Goliaths you're talking about. A matter a fact, I chalenge you to post a link of a web site that advertises that price. Oh and Chuck, where can I get an adult Goliath for $45 RETAIL?? That's another chalenge going out. The fact of the matter is that I don't beleive you guys and I'd like to SEE proof.

Maybe I could get his phone number then? I'm not trying to be a prick here. All I'm saying is that if you guys think I should or could sell cheaper I would think you could tell me where I could get them cheaper so i could do so.
Sorry if you took my challenge the wrong way.

I think you should make as much money as you can........ It is harder to get stuff in Canada........ You need to make money........ I dont need to make money on my offsping........ Like I said I am devoted to my snakes........ This arachnid stuff is your gig dude...... I was not bashing your prices........ Just the price in general in Canada........ Everyone needs to make the cash and I would never bash anyone for that........ If you sell them for the price you do that is great....... But I could never sell one here for that price....... That is what I was trying to point out....... Sorry if you took it like a personal attack.......

Only way to score prices that low are to go directly to breeders... most of them are happy to be rid of their excess babies and sell them at excellent prices.
The other alternative is to order from Europe. The American spider market is way out of hand with the prices they charge. I wont get into naming names... but mainly there are 3 culprits I can see directly responsible for the over inflated prices in the States.
