Well since the death of my baby jade I have been thinking of getting Jasper a friend. I am also thinking that I should replace his cage for a newer taller one so he has some more jumping room. I feel so bad that he lost his roommate that I want to pamper him more than I already do. So here is my question... What would be the ideal setup for a green tree frog, maybe 2? Also what live plants do these guys do best with?

I am thinking maybe a 20gal tall, with a moonglow light at night, some corkbark, one of those bendable vines, some fake plants unless I can find some real ones, a flagstone rock and reptile carpet for substrate(unless i use real plants), and what do you think of one of those heatpads for under the tank?

What do you suggest?

Hey, I think you have some great ideas!!! I personally prefer not to use real plants, I went to the craft store and bought a mini-bush that I liked and cut it off the main stem. then I washed them very well and put the individual stems in my tank, It looks quite natural. I don't have to worry about them dying, and I can wash and sanatize them as needed. As far as the reptile carpet, I thought About that for mine but, the kind I saw said it was not recommended for (frogs or amphibians) i cannot remember which it said. I have also been thinking of getting a heating pad for under my tank. The people where I got Sam said it was not necessary, but she seems to enjoy it.(not real hot! just warm.)
I am glad to see that you are willing to give frogs another try!! Good luck! and I'll talk to ya later!
