View Full Version : Baby banded Eygptian...
Here are some pics of the CB03 male Naja annulifera that I picked up from Ray Hunter at the last Hamburg(thanks Ray). He hasnt changed into his adult coloration yet, obviously but still looks cool!! He is very bitey, the worst out of the trio I have and sometimes he will just start chewing on the side of his cage! No hood, no food in the air, he just likes to bite apparently. Maybe hes teething? :-) The females are much more reluctant and generaly run when disturbed or hide their heads. One will hood up every once in a blue moon but both are usualy very shy. All go nutts when food is introduced though! The damn crazy little fang throwers start death rolling and flopping around like a fish out of water!! Interesting to watch.
Welp, enjoy!
Later,
Jeremy

Jeremy I have to ask is he still trying to beat the hell out of everything and anything that walks past him. I mummbled to myself many time as i walked past his cage at Ray's he will hurt himself or learn to stop that.
You still here taps on the side of his cage when you walk by and he is out and about but alot of the time he stays hidden away underneath his hide. On a hook hes pretty calm and slow but he still starts chewing on anything that comes near his mouth. Kinda cute while he is so small but boy is it going to be fun when he gets 6 ft plus!!!

Nice snake Jeremy....... Ray had some nice stuff at his table....... Those little cobras grow like weeds....... How much are they eating???? When I was holding on to some baby black forest cobras for a friend they were taking 4 pinkys per feeding each...... One reason why I dont keep cobras is that they poop way too much.....LOL
looks like an awesone cobra Jeremy, congrats!!!

Just saw this thread. Nice pics Jeremy. That particular snake especially enjoys chewing on thumb nails (or so I'm told). I think it is a pit bull mix :) Can't wait to see the pics when it is an adult.
See ya at Daytona.
Be Blessed

That's a very nice looking cobra...if only I was brave enough and it was legal here, I'd have plenty of them. :)
