well my friend and I were out herping yesterday for a good 4 hours. We came to this huge lake and we found a TON of bullfrogs. We catch over 20 easilly but let alot of them back. I have around 10 little ones and one HUGE one. We are going back monday to try and catch a male Bullfrog if anyone can tell me this one is DEFIANTELY a female. Here are the pics

I forgot to add I will be returning all except for the one in my fish aquarium which is a tadpole, 2 or 3 little ones and the large one

Nice frogs. But they do need space man. Provide space, all food, and check legalities in and around your area. Better safe then sorry.

Snakemann, perhaps this site will help clear things up for you. A fishing license allows for possession, not propagation (breeding). Bullfrogs are a protected class and you need an aquaculture permit if you plan to breed them:

Click on the "species of fish" link about halfway down the page and you'll see that bullfrogs and green frogs require aquaculture permits.
