is moss a good layer/bedding to put inside a humid hide.my leos don't go in the hide very much after i put that in there and i was wondering if there was any way to get them to like it or any other possible bedding for it.

I just experienced the same thing last night. My leo would never get in his humidity hide. Just put some moss in there and wet it when you see him start to get a light color. Then when its time to shed, he'll go in the hide and it will be much easier for the skin to come off.

My Leo did the exact same thing...but what i've come to realise is that if they need the humidity, they'll use the hide:)

moss is fine. also bed-a-beast, or vermiculite (altho some ppl have problems with leos wanting to ingest it)
I use a product called 'Frog Moss'. I don't know why your leos don't like the humid hides, my Girl won't ever come out! (Then again, it's a 'dry heat' over here in New Mexico. =)

If you're not breeding you can also use wet paper towel.
