Females will produce whether they see a male or not (usually). If you want a pet, definitely go with a male. If you do get a female, if you give her the right conditions she will lay her eggs (enough humidity, proper food etc). When you noticed her digging in the substrate or plant dirt you need to move her to a pail full of a foot of moist dirt for her to dig a tunnel and lay her eggs.

oo ok so if she does lay her egg could they be fertilzed? and can chameleons carry wut the male left her?

I'm sorry I don't know what you mean?

Once they are laid they can't be fertilized. If the female was with a male before laying then yes they would be fertile (not always, of course).
