Hey,
some people say use 1 or 2 parts of epoxy paint or whatever, and i was just wondering what does that mean?

Thanks,
Ben

Also, can you use epoxy and polyurethane together? (poly first, let it cure, then epoxy last n let that cure)

Some paints come with 2 parts that you have to mix JUST prior to painting. Usually, one of the parts is a catalyst that helps the paint to bond and stick to surfaces. Usually found in aquatic and underwater paints.

Why would you want to use both?

dunno, i just thought it might make it more "water resistant"

Epoxy is 100% waterproof. You don't need anything else if you are using that. Polyurethanes do not waterproof, they just resist moisture to a certain degree.

Hey linds & jeff,
Is there a certain type of epoxy that you use (name/brand/place you get it from)?

Thanks,
Ben
