Hi, I'm new to the forum and I hope you all will forgive me for just jumping in but I'm really worried.

I have a two year old female bibrons gecko who has started behaving in a very strange fashion.. She's arcing her neck back, her pupils are vastly dilated even in daylight and every so often she kicks or makes a diging motion with her right rear leg.

She's been eating (medium crickets) and drinking well, and will still take water if she's gently misted.

I'm taking her to the vet as soon as possible but does anyone have any thoughts in the meantime?

ok, she's off to see dr. Zenker, thanks for at least taking the time to read my post even if no one knew what to say.

Cornsss, I jusr discovered your post today. I was wondering, does your gecko get a lot of calcium in it's diet? Or is their calcium available inside the enclosure? What your describing could be a number of things, but my experience in rescuing reptiles leads me to believe that maybe your gecko has some deficiencies. Make sure you bring in a fecal sample for your vet to look through (for parasites). If she is still eating and drinking on her own, that's a VERY good sign! Keep us updated on your gecko, and tell us about the visit. Good Luck with her!
