Live plants and tarantulas

Hi all...
I'm considering the introduction of living plants into the aquarium I house my togo starburst in. My question is...are there any plants that I should avoid putting in there (aside from the obvious, ie. cactus)? I know that certain plants have natural presticides in them and I'd have for anything to happen to the spider. I looked around on the net but didn't really learn anything groundbreaking. Any advice on this?

Any plants are fine, the natural pestisides are only if the plants are consumed. As you know T's don't eat plants lol so anything that you like should be fine.

Right now I have a Chilean common or Rose or whatever they're being called this week and a Togo Starburst. I also have one of those blue-ringed scolopendra. I haven't really been keeping tarantulas for very long but I'm gradually getting addicted to it. I wish that stores around here had better selection though. Southwestern in London has some cool things sometimes, are there any others up there that stock the more unusual critters?. What do you currently have crawling around your place?

You name it me and my father have it, right now the collection is at around 3500 specimens.

Geezus! What, are you guys in charge of entomology at UWO? Haha that's a crazy amount of animals. Does it stop at spiders or do you keep insects and other things as well?

Cool, you lookin for any new T's I have one surplus animal left. It's a Nhandu Coloratovillosus (Brazilian Black & White) Dark Morph. Mail me if your interested, this is not something your gonna find in a pet store.

Living plants aren't very nice in inverts' tanks. They need special UV lights, and they can be a house for flies and other bad insects we don't want there..
