sorry im new to snakes I thought all gopher, pine and bull snakes were Pituophis, I ask becouse until recently i didnt even know there was gopher and pine snakes. And Ive never seen a bullsnake quite like him before

Hard to ID with that pic but i think it is a Sonoran Gopher Snake, I would need a better pic to be sure. Nice snake!

Doesn't look like a bull to me. Might be a Sonoran like Andy mentioned.

thanks ill have a better picture in a couple of days. Most of what we see around here are much darker with large rounded spots. I liked his lighter look

Ive heard of sonoran gopher's but never applegates. is there much differance. guess not huh
