How big of a cage do I need for a red tailed adult? The Dimentions i mean. Thanks for all the help. If any of you have any pics of your red tailed cages that would be cool
Sean
The general rule of thumb is to provide one square foot of floor space per foot of snake. Generally most BCI, and some BCC can be kept in a cage measuring 4(L) x 2(W) x 1(H), some larger adults may require a larger cage. Of course these are just the minimum requirements, if you can afford to go larger then thats great :)
In general, the absolute minimum is about 4' L x 2' W x 2' H, which is fine for your average sized boa. However, larger specimens would need more space. An ideal enclosure size would be 6' L x 2' W x 2' H.
Another point is that if you plan to place a lot of decorations etc. which take up a lot of floor space, then you will need a bigger enclosure.

Hey
I would go with a 4 by 2 by 2........For a nice comfortable enclosure..
But hey, if money isnt a factor go with a bigger 1.
