Thought this question would be fun:
If you were restricted to only owning one reptile, and money was not a factor, whic reptile would you choose to own?
For me it would definately be a madagascar tree boa, I'm not sure why, But I want one sooooo bad.
Anyways, looking forward to see your answers.

A GRAVID Carpet python! :)
Galapogas tortoise. Money being no object I'd have an indoor acre or two for it to roam in protected from the elements of the nasty winter we get.
A piebald ball python.......oh yeah:)

I'm not sure....I'm not sure that I would choose to own a reptile if I could have only one. That would mean that captive breeding of herps was not permitted, you see....

Okay, my real answer is actually a BLUE RACER. They're like a magical lamp you have to touch...shiny and forbidden, difficult to find...even endangered in Canada :o
So Come on Everybody fhwquads...oh wait, wrong train of thought.
Everyone adopt a pair of endangered species and give the world another spin~! Guess that doesn't work for most locales.

Probably something expensive or large like a dwarf crocodile, american alligator, perentie monitor, blackheaded python, albino reticulated python, snow burmese python... or something highly venomous like maybe a forest cobra, gila monster, gaboon viper, or maybe even a feas viper (most likely, if I had the money and could keep it perfectly).
That's too many, you said if I could keep ONE herp. Well, I could give you a list of what I wanted and couldn't pick just one... it's too difficult :(

I'd have to say I got my favorite already,Sumatran HY water monitor...she could be just a little brighter though.
However I'd love to have a beautiful outdoor beach enclosure like I saw recently in a reptile magazine. The enclosure was for gharials...one of my favorite crocs, beautiful animals.
