Has anyone used peet moss for there ball python before?

i think i might have used something like that before either peet or spanish ended up makiing my snake's belly green.

I have, both Peat and Spaghnum Moss , but I am not a big fan of either, I will use Spaghnum for a humidity hides, but for the whole tank it is a pain to clean. My guys in aquariums get good old paper towel (cheap and easy to clean) and mist the tank as needed to keep the humidity around 50-55%, In the tubs, the humidity is constant at 55% and I use Aspen shavings for these guys. Hope this helps

I agree, I think it would make the enclosure too humid as well.

I use aspen for my little guys, if the cage was all moss it would make the humidity too high, BP's should be kept at 60% unless they are shedding then it can be higher.
