red bootz

we're getting alot of nice weather lately, so we've been letting the torts and the boxie out on the veranda to get their dose of natural sunshine. Now, I know sunshine does wonders for reptilian libido but I've found that its after the sun goes down that the sordid affairs of my reptilian family come into play.
Just as I was to bring them all back in, my FEMALE box turtle was mounting my juvy red foot (the big one that I think is male). I know the boxie is female because she laid eggs for me when she had a mate...but that's three years ago. Has anyone else heard or seen this kind of behaviour? I'm all for free love but if there's something wrong with her (repressed hormones?) I'd like to know.If there's no harm then its no prob (except for the red-foot. He didn't seem too pleased with boxie's amourous advances)
