View Full Version : number thins before animal species
whenever i see someone talk about a herp they always have 1.1 or 0.1 or etc. infront of it anyone know what this means??
1.2.3 = 1 male 2 females and 3 unsexed animals
the first number indicates the males, second number indicates the females and the 3rd number indicates unsexed animals. Make sense? :D

Matt is dead on. It’s an old system, was well in use before my time. I have no idea the basis of it, but it’s a uniform code the world over.
