My wife, but after I washed and showed her this wonderful animal, and also explained how they eat harmful bugs in her garden, she fell for it. We now have a vivarium in the living room, not what I was expecting?

Don’t tell me! Last week I finally agreed to trap and relocate a ground hog in my yard, the motivation was my wife’s garden and my neighbour’s flowers; my suggestion to build an extra garden for him was rejected? Anyway Phil tot to be a male showed up at my trap cage with a cute little baby, needless to say, both of them have been feeding from my trap cage for a week now, ha-ha I have a feeling I wont catch them this year!!!! Don’t tell my wife!

They're the greatest!!!! Sadly, the population here in Toronto has drastically dropped... I'm plannin' to build a large enclosed area in mah yard to get these numbers goin' up somehow... sureit wont do that much, but its worth the time and education for myself. But they are something to look at, I have 3 captive ahtched fellas for nearly a year now, no problems ever :) Great attitudes too :D

Enjoy man!

Last year in the spring time, my parents and I count 14 PAIRS of these guys mating in our pond. And we're not talking about a huge pond, just a normal size backyard pond. There chirping drove my parents crazy.
