Been thinkin about torts a lot recently, I've had eastern box turtles in the past and wouldn't mind having one of those again, but I've also been thinkin about some stuff i recall from childhood... When I was young a local pet shop had a resident tortoise, big sucker, dark brown with i wanna say it looked like 3 pyramids down the middle of the carapace. Not sure if i remember it totally correctly, but does that sound familiar to anyone? if so what kind was it? I'd like to read up on a few other tortoises, but I don't know the names to many of them and its hard to find good info using only "tortoises" in a search...
any help would be great!

Sounds kinda like a spurred tort?? Because of the pyramids? You should try searching for "Tortoise Species" you'll likely come across a page with pics that you can look through.
