Chat not working for me :(

How come "Chat" isn't working for me today? Anyone else having problems with it?

It works best if you use mirc, pirch, xchat or a similar client for "chat" or irc.

i just tried to connect through the site and it didnt work for me either. It seems that the last couple nights the chat server has been experiencing difficulty, just keep trying, hopefully it will resolve soon.. If you have mIRC or the like you should have no problem getting in.. For those of you who dont have it and would like to get it, just visit www.mirc.com HERE (http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=17646) is a thread thats will help anyone out with mirc if they dont understand it once installed :) Good Luck..

i have been on from 6pm to 10:30 pm est and am having no problems...and there is lots of ppl in there entering through the site

What ISP (Internet Service Provider) are the people that are having problems using? I'm using sympatico and Xchat (www.xchat.org) and currently have no issues getting on. One thing to check to see if it's an issue with the routing (the way your computer gets to the server) is to type "tracert irc.chat-sollutions.org" (no ") in a dos window (to open a dos window in windows click on start, run and type in "command", again no "). if the route makes it all the way to irc.chat-solutions there's no problem with the routing or chat, it's your system (could be your java installation in internet explorer or netscape).
