Well this is mine exscuse the mess on the bottom shelf
This is just a part though I also have 1 huge enclosure, a 20 and a 30 gallon tank with rats as well

Those by the way are 10 galon tanks on the bottom shelf
Funny thing is all I have is 2 BPs and a BCI to feed I have way too much breeding going on so I help out another person with feeding her snakes as well.
This is my rat/mouse combo rack... the bottom level was for mice, but someone kept letting the dog down and though the mice are cannot escape, a determined Jack Russell has no problems getting in!.....

.....so I use this cage for my mice, which is ok because I only have a few geckos and 3 snakes that eat mice, so I don't need that many, but I should've built my rack with a few more levels for rats, I am having to house the overflow in these old rubbermaids I used to use......

This is one of my home made racks. I have four racks. Two for rats, one for mice and one is a rearing cage. I produce about 800-1000 rodents a month. I need lots of pinkies for about 3 months for the baby snakes that I breed and I sell my surplus rodents live or frozen. If you plan to produce any quantity of rodents then I would strongly recommend a auto feed and water system and non breakably, easy clean cages.

The drop-down food hoppers are removable. I don't like the design with the food on top simply because they very young rats cannot reach that high. I made them by making semi-circles out of wood, and attaching the mesh with staples (1/2" hardware cloth for rats, 1/4" inch for mice). They have no problem eating the food through the hardware cloth as long as it is the right size, and it prevents food from being soiled and wasted ;)
