I borrowed a camera to take a pic to show everyone the size difference between 2 litter mates. These were both babies from september last year but in nov. one escaped and I just found it last sunday!!Its doing good already and has eaten 2 f/t pinkies but as you can see 7 months witout food really puts a damper on growing!http://www.ssnakess.com/photopost/data/500/540new.jpg

thanks for the suggestions I got from my other post!:D

I'm glad you found it! I once had a friend lose one for 10 months! As you may already know, I would suggest easing it back into a regular feeding schedual.
Cheers,
Trevor

Boidkeeper: I figured i wasn't going to try and pound it with food in the next little while and probably won't feed it again until next week. He ate the first pinkie which was the smallest day old i could get and three days later there was two poops in his cage so I tried another and he took it rather quickly, but no I don't want to push it!!:)

Drewlowe: When it got out of the container it was in it went immediately down into the furnace grating which leads into a crawlspace under the house. There's no way for it to get out of there and it stays mostly between 50-60 degrees until the summer so i'm hoping that he kinda brumated himself and it will have no ill effects on his health later on. Besides my wife has kinda adopted him as her own so rest assured if it has so much as a crabby day it'll be a the vets quicker than you can blink!!;)

thanks,

Is great to hear you found him and that he survived. Hope he will recover well. I have purchased severely stunted snakes in the past (fed a pinky a week for a year type of feeding) that showed similar stunting and they made up for lost time quickly once they got onto a regular feeding schedule - so it will be interesting to see your follow-ups on this guy and how long it takes him to catch up,

good luck,
