Finally it's corn time!

After waiting, pondering, reading, reasearching, then deciding and waiting and pondering some more I have finally brought home two corns of my own!

Now for something I've been thinking of, everywhere I read about corns, they are portraid as Houdinis in scales, so I was wondering if they would be able to push the enclosures doors open? (It's a sliding glasspanes opening)

Make absolutely sure you have a lock for the sliding glass doors. If there is even a slight chance that they can move it, I guarantee you, they will be gone.

That was the impression I had.. well, I used some silvertape to keep the door from being opened (from the inside anyway). Thanks, now I know to keep it as such.

Yep they are masters at escape!

yeh, mine have escaped numerous times but they don't fit through the space anymore

If they can get out, they will get out. Make it so they can't & if you are using tape like ya said be real carefull that the snakes don't come into contact with the sticky side as it can do some nasty scale damage that may take a few sheds to undo. Mark I.

Yeah, I'm using tape, but that's on the outside (obviously) and they are on the inside (maybe even more obvios =) so I don't see any problem there. I even made a little hatch out of it, realy proud of that one I am =)

(Remember, what you can't fix with silvertape, you can't fix at all =)

a mate of mine from work had a royal python that learned how to slide the enclosure doors open
his mum made him get rid of it though as she was a bit of a phobic sort...
mind you the thought of a 6 foot python roaming round the house would scare me a bit too LOL
