hi,

I have noticed in the past and currently around these forums that many people will list their pets with the 0.0.0 sexing chart. I'm pretty sure I am reading it right as Male/Female/Unsexed - if I'm wrong please correct me.

Well, if that last one is "unsexed" then I was just wondering why people don't sex their snakes/herps? I personally like to know the sex of any animal I'm working with for many reasons, but I definately want to know what the ones I own are. I understand that smaller species it might be easier and less stressful to just not bother, but I was wondering if there was anything else to it?

Well, I don't really have an answer as to why people don't sex animals. I guess maybe they got it from a store...

You are right about the male/female/unsexed though... :)

The reason for the unsexed thing is because some animals are very hard to sex when younger. It also helps with people wanting to do breeding loans so you can see who has what.
