How do you quote someone in a new thread? (so that someone else's quote shows up in a grey box) I've tried doing it several ways, but I just don't seem to be doing it correctly. Please help inform me.

type (QUOTE)copy and paste the quote here(/QUOTE)
But replace ()s with []s

... or just click "quote" under the person's name you want a quote from. Then it takes you to a page, and you can type what you want your response to be. I find that a quicker way.

Or, you can just click the button "quote" above the area where you type in your message (the title is VB code), paste what you want to quote in the message box that will pop up and click ok. OR, you can just click the quote button under someones message.

To get the "originally posted by" type of quote, you can type that in manually  or you can go to their post and click on "quote", it is located in the bottom lefthand corner ;)
