Tokays are awesome! I just love my new guy...
Apparently the floor hiding was just part of his adjustment period because he's hanging out on the tank sides now.

He's just hilarious! I love feeding him, he goes beserk for those crickets...it's way more entertaining to watch him eating than my snakes! lol
I don't even mind the fact that he won't let me handle him because he's just so much fun to watch!

I have heard a lot about tokays. But everyone tells me that there crazy and will snap at you all the time. I have never heard of anyone having a tame tokay. How old is yours now?

okay we have tonnes of tokays that are handlable it just takes a little while and a lot of handleing to get them tamed althoug sometimes they will give a little nip but only if handled a little roughly so u can tame them!!!

My 12 inch male is notorious for his attitude, but if I let him run around in the bathroom for a bit and coax him into my hand he is perfectly fine. I LOVE their personalities!
