A few things to look at....

- Does she have an appropriate place to lay?
- Do the eggs look as if they are stuck at her vent?
- Was she put with a "good" male?

11 days is a bit long but kings can go longer. 7-9 is normal but some have had their kings go almost 14 days....

Good luck with her! :D

You can't overenphisize the importance of a good lay spot or she might hold them in or just lay them in the water dish.

She must also feel safe to lay. Leave her in a nice quiet spot & don't pester her if it can be avoided. Beleive it or not checking on her too often will sometimes be the problem. She needs some time to be alone, unless you have observed something otherwise that may require intravention as mentioned above. Mark I.

make that 18 days now do you think that maybe she just shed earlier than what she normally would have because during her gestation period i fed her a ton about 3 juvenille mice every other day for the whole period. so do you think that she just had to shed earlier because she ate so much?? cause im really starting to get worried because i know she has eggs in her i can see and feel em??? help

This seems to be the year for eggbound colubrids. I would find a very good reptile veterinarian. 18 days is getting on the unsafe side.

I had 3 that were eggbound this year, one king that I massaged the eggs out of and both snake and eggs were fine. One king that had surgery to remove them, she is now fine with only 2 good eggs. and one bullsnake that died going into surgery with 7 good eggs.

You never know, its a tough call. There are procedures to do at home, but if you have to ask you probably aren't ready to try so I would go to the vet.

I will warn you, the vet fee will probably be $200-300.

It's a sh!tty call to make but I'd say now is the time to decide. You either have to help her out or let her fend for herself which may mean her death. 18 days post shed is pushing it IMHO... but what do I know? :)
