hi is i normal for two females to fight i have my two females in a tank thats 72 L x18 1/2 H x12 W and theyre bitting at each other and theres no male in the tank?
It's fairly common, unfortunately. They need to be separated to avoid injury and stress-related illness.

Yes, if they are fighting then they need to be seperated. Are you POSITIVE they are both females? How old are they?
It's not TOO common for two females to fight, but some are just more aggressive than others. :\

cat fight!
woohoo!!!
um, heh. make sure they currently dont have any boo boo's right now too....
Dragon Slave, I disagree. In the 15 years I was a vet tech I've stitched up just as many "girl on girl" fights as males vs. males. Beardies don't live together 24/7 in the wild so companionship = competition in captivity. Females get especially territorial when ovulating as they want to protect the best nesting sites.

Eyespy: I said it wasn't TOO common, many many many people house females together with no problems. I never said it couldn't happen, just that if given enough space, it SHOULDN'T happen TOO often.
