Gravid Honduran?

has anyone ever had a gravid honduran eat right up until she laid???

this is my first year breeding hondos and one female that i was 90% sure was gravid just took a decent sized meal

i have experiened this with corns before, but i just wanted to know if this is common in hondos......Im starting to doubt my original thought that she was gravid

any help is appreciated

I've had them eat small meals but not large ones.

I feed them VERY LIGHTLY up to pre-lay but only about 50-60% of them eat anything within a month of being gravid.

And I always offer smallish food items, so I have no idea if they'd eat a bigger one.

Interesting though. Colubrids are hard to tell when gravid. Not like a python at all. Which is strange, because Hondo eggs are so damn big!

Wait it out Matt. They lay 6-9 days after pre-lay so its not like the wait is too long.
