My ball's name is Rocky. I like to name them after gods, and just inspired by a member of another forum, Romeo and Juliet character names.

There are many names for a ball python and I personally like bp not because of the intials but its sounds good for a snake :)

I have always liked the name kane. Or you could call him Zeus. The way I choose names for my animals is I watch how they act and try to name them by their behaviour or if that fails look at their name (common or scientific). My female balls name is Sultana which is a sultans daughter (princess) because she is a royal python.

I have a Red Tail named Jannis Joplin and when I get a male I will name him Jimmy Hendrix. So for a Ball Python I would go with Ozzy for a male and Lita for a female.

The ball pythons natural range is in Ethiopian. The roya python is found in the grasslands of the Sudanese subprovince west of the Nile, in Southern Sudan in the Bahrel Ghazal and in the region of the Nuba Mountain in Southern Kordofan, and in West Africa from Senegal to Sierra Africa.
