Incubationg in moss?

I'm plaining to use sphagnum(sp) for my next clutch of corn eggs. Has anyone used it before, and how did they like it?

thats what I use. The only thing I have to say is that it holds water a little too well, I use a double container with wet spagnum on one side and barely moist spagnum holding the eggs, loss to fungus dropped dramatically.

I used Spagnum for everthing last year & found it hard to keep at the proper moisture level. If too dry it can dry out eggs quick, so you have a tendancy to keep it too wet, causing mold problems etc. I also found it "heated up" the eggs too much in the final stages of incubation due to the "compost" type factor. The incubator was stable but the actual eggs were at a higher temp due to the warmth caused by the spagnum "breaking down". I'm using all vermiculite/pedailite (sp) this year & things are going way better. I still use Spagnum in all my nesting boxes etc. though as I find it works best. I buy mine from the Garden centre in big bags which I soak in boiling water prior to use. It they can survive being boiled they deserve to live, lol. Mark I.

Sphagnum is a bee-otch to keep at the proper humidity. I would advise against it Trev.

How is papertowel for corn eggs? How moist should it be?

I've got fungus/mold problems with my African House snake eggs on Spagnum. Definitely going with vermiculite next time.
