im starting to see a trend here all these people that know nothing about snakes and are asking questions about ahow to keep them and feed them and breed them imo they are looking to make a quick buck
our answers to them shouyld be boas and ball pythons are dam near impossible to breed, they think that its gonna be so simple you put your snakes together and they do the rest boy oh boy
snake breeding is not easy its hard work
i personally havent bred anything but ive spoken with enough breeders that have said dam its hard work doing this
if your gonna breed do it for the love not the cash if you make a little scratch thats a bonus but do it for the love
later
Nothing makes me more annoyed then to see that too. I really got mad looking at a rival website under their "adoptions" section to see people saying "WILL ADOPT ALL BALL PYTHONS" or "WILL ADOPTS ALL RED-TAILS" I Wonder if thats aimed at making a few bucks.....? greed is involved in everything. Theres rarely anything for adoption but people still feel the need to do that.
I agree with 100% lilcreep.

You have got to be kidding me, there is somebody doing this for the money. I would just like to cover my monthly mice, rat and rabbit bill. I guess asking to make enough to cover medical expenses would be over doing it.
I have bred quite a few pythons and many species of colubrids but those darn boas keep you guessing right up till the due date. I think I am going to invest in an ultrasound. Maybe I will make enough money off my reptiles this year to pay for it. LOL
Makes you wonder if the people who are adopting all these snakes just to make money are even concerned about the snakes well being.
I have read threw several threads on breeding and have to say I am in no way ready to breed snakes, and Money has never crossed my mind unless it's to buy something for them.

I agree totally all of the sucessfull breeders have a love for their animals and not for the potential monitary gains to be made and thats what makes all the difference. Just look at Guys like Bob clark & Jeff Ronne.
