me and two friends are doing one for kids and adults at our public library but they need to sort out somethin with insurence hope fully it go's as planed. It's my first time ever doing something like this out of school should be fun. any sugguestions on how to go about it would be great. even though i already have a format new ideas are more than welcome.

I think in that situation you should have a waver to be signed to the effect that you are not held responsible for other peoples actions/reactions to your species. That you are not held responsible for any defensive act on your species behalf etc etc
A behavioural opening would be a must as well before showing your creatures and make sure it is in a controlled enviroment.
Just a start. I don't know about the insurance aspect. We have done a few at libraries and schools and have never bothered with insurance.

if its a reputable organisation, they will have their own insurance, otherwise dont bother

BW, I printed that off. I'm doing one for both grade 7 and kindergarten on Thursday. My first ones.... Thanks for the help! ;)

Since I've been in the NB school system I've been involved in a few shows. I must say BWS you make some good points. Great post.
