Toxic Glue?

I've decided to make my own hide aways for Montey and Chaos. For example, I want to glue leaves to some taracotta(sp?) pots and things like that.

Now I was thinking of using a hot glue gun. If I wait for it to dry and then put them in the enclosure, is that dangerous? Or toxic?

If so, what kind of glue CAN I use?

craft hot gun glue is fine. Just be sure to let it cure before introducing the hides to the enclosures.
