Ok this is really bugging me. its a not so great pic but its kinda strange. do you know what it is ??? this is the first time in the past 3 years i have had trouble ID ing a snake. it looks pretty cool. it looks like a greed bullsnake or somthing :P or a green hognose :S. anyways let me know! http://www.trygve.com/gardensnake.jpg
I guess Southern pine. or maybe a bull, or some kinda pit!

i dont think so Vanan. i think its a frog eating snakes or somthing
It looksk kinda Pity. Doesn't even look like a pic, but a painting.
i definitely agree with Vanan, I think its some sort of pituophis.
scales look heavily keeled

it sure looks like one with a stubby face. but i have never seen a green one.
Have You?
pits can have stubby little faces
My first inclination is that its not green, it probably has something to do with the bad quality of the pic
do you know where he snake was found?
that looks like either a gopher or a pine snake to me.
the green just looks like a reflection from the leaves surrounding it.
looks a bot like my northern pine...so i guess maybe some kind of pine or other pit
I'd have to say a Pituophis, the thick body looks like a Bull snake to me.

well it sure as hell has the same scales head shape pattern but i have never NEVER seen a green one. but maybe it is because because of the crappy pic. my first guess was a pit of some kind but i started thinking central and south american colubrids. but the only thing i can think of it being would be like some kind of hognose and hognose snakes dont look like that. in that pic its head looks really stubby, but thats probably because its looking into the camera. But it does also look like a painting like katt said.
Ill find out sooner or later
