Hi,

I just wanted to show the enclosures of my reptiles.

This is the terrarium of my couple Gerrhosaurus major (Plated lizards) named Falkor & Gizmo

This is the terrarium of my three Cordylus tropidosternum (Spinytail or Girdled lizards) named Rocco, Senna & Zoë

This is the terrarium of my male Ball python (1 1/2 years old) named Monty Python

And this is the temporary home of my female Ball python (10 weeks old) named Cheetah

Wow those are great cages! But are you sure you gave the girdled enough room? They have the equivalent to an entire football field to run around on!:D Too cool!

Thanks!!!

The Girdled have just enough room :p Well they run around all day so it's nice for them! I had the opportunity to give them an extra 10 or 20 cm. so of course did it! And I think they are happy with it :)

A friend of mine (who has a reptile/terrarium-shop) made the terrariums.

The rear walls of the Gerrhosaurus and baby BP are bought like that, the rear wall of the Cordylus is made by that friend also and the rear wall of the big BP terrarium I made myself.

We thought it was a nice name too! :)

Plated lizard are great! It's a shame so few people have them (in Holland, I don't know how it's in other countries) because they are very beautiful and easy-going!

Dried, stripped corn husks.
I don't use it anymore because it can't take moisture. Than it starts to mould. It's great for desert creatures like my lizards but not for BP.

I absolutly LOVE your plated lizard terrarium, its gorgeous and your lizards look happy. Can you tell me what you used in the tank and what size tank that is? I have been considering a plated for awhile but want to make sure I can create the right environment first. What type of maintence does it require (low, medium high)?

Thank you for sharing!
