Okay guys, the General Discussion is turning into one big billboard and the proper forum is not being used anymore for what it should be. I realize the general discussion gets the most hits but things need to be kept where they are supposed to be. Events or other herp related activity threads that are posted in the general discussion will now be deleted. We will move the current ones but any new event threads in the general discussion will be deleted. Thanks guys, and lets keep the forums organized for everyones sake.

I can easily respect that.
Question- when I was on the home page and tried to click into this link, I got the following error:
vBulletin Message
You do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
You do not have permission to access the page that you were trying to. Are you trying to edit someone else's post or trying to access administrative features? Check that you are allowed to perform this action in the Forum Rules.
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
But when I went into Community Forums > General Discussion > Events Forum- I was able to open this right up.
Know why? And should I have posted this elsewhere?
jncoclub,
Do you recall who started the thread? A while back we had a problem with some of the threads in the administrative forums being featured on the main page of the site. There is a thread with the same title in there, only thing I can think of was that it made its way back to the home page and that is why you were unable to access it. It most likely wasn't the same thread :)

I thought it was this link/thread, so wouldn't have Jeff started it? I tried to access it form the homepage. Oh well, it may have been that other thread you mentioned. No problems then. :)

It was most likely a thread started in the Moderator forum... Still working on making moderator only threads stop showing up in the new thread areas! ;)
