Nice getula collection you got there.

Ok so they aren't the best pics. I rushed through taking them just for the purpose of this post. Let me tell ya, not all of them were feeling photogenic. lol. My 5ft mex blk female tried eating the camera lenses!

Bigger female L. g. holbrooki
<img src="http://www.members.shaw.ca/vanan/Bspeckled1.jpg">

Female 50/50 who has this thing for female corns. She was used to produce jungles, this year and last. Damn girl would get excited everytime I put a female corn in there!
<img src="http://www.members.shaw.ca/vanan/dahlia1.jpg">

my lil '01 L. g. floridana aka "brooksi". Poor girl was deep in shed. Again, not a happy camper. Even though she didn't tail rattle or musk, she gives me the look like "I'll get ya next time!"
<img src="http://www.members.shaw.ca/vanan/helena1.jpg">

New line of L. g. floridana X getula called Mahogany kings. ;)
<img src="http://www.members.shaw.ca/vanan/mahogF2.jpg">

A lil L. g. splendida whom I've got on hold in a far far away place! ;)
<img src="http://www.members.shaw.ca/vanan/splendidaF1.jpg">

Can't have a getula collection without a L. g. getula. My 5' 8" male eastern.
<img src="http://www.members.shaw.ca/vanan/solomon1.jpg">

Last but not least. The girl who tried eating the camera. 5' L. g. nigrita
<img src="http://www.members.shaw.ca/vanan/trinity1.jpg">

Now all that's left are the L. g. nigra. Anyone got some???

Nice collection Vanan!! I take it that's just your specie list, and not your whole collection? I don't see Pearl ;) . I love your Brooksi and Desert.

Vanan

Vanan - the normal cal king is approaching 6 feet - very large snake. It was a rescue that was severely emaciated when we took him in, were told it was a male, but 2 days ago it dropped a slug egg and she got 6 more out today and is considerably thinner than in that photo. We are watching closely for her to pass the next two bulges - really like this snake - have had her about the longest of any of ours - now just have to adjust to the gender change.

Wonderful to see so many king photos,

There is also a Hi Yellow Female in the group, but she is in shed and made it quite clear that she wasn't at all interested in co-operating for the camera...

Very nice collection Will - this is the group from Mark I. - right? Very nice diverse group that you should have fun with breeding for patterns and color - lots of choices.

No doubt that the striped king is one of the most outstanding examples Mark - beautiful snake - to get that clear black/white with such a solid stripe. Has he produced for you yet? very nice and we can never see too many pics of him,

I bred him to a desert phase black and white banded Cal. She just layed 8 eggs from him. I wish I had another like him to breed too.

You know, it's kinda nice to see interest in the Cal. kings. I mean they were one of the "first on the scene" so to speak. They have been a bit overlooked lately I think. Having the nice striped male has even piqued my interest again. We'll see what he produces in about 3-4 weeks. Thanks, everyone.

Yea Mark. I'm surprised at the interest that has been shown so far, especially up here in Canada where noone is willing enough to pay more than $75 for a baby caliking regardless of what morph.

We need more people like Kerby and Lonesome Valley up here! lol
