$35.00 for a stool sample check is a good price. It's $50.00 where I am.

I would. Just because my friend just bought a ball and it DID have parasites. It's safer to get your ball checked. And maybe you can ask your parents for the money.

Lol parents can be punks aske her about a animal she alwyas wanted as a kid and that will do the trick belive me. Then if she saids some mean thing likethere nasty or something play the race card if you know what i mean.
Well... ball pythons usually have around 6-8 eggs on average, a very large clutch would be 14... all those snakies in her cage are not her siblings ;) What you most likely have is a captive hatched ball python (typically these are what pet stores carry, and this is the right time of year for all the captive hatched babies to begin their appearances ;)) I would definitely recommend bringing a fecal sample into your vet to get checked out, and treated for any subsequent findings. As for prices, it varies from vet to vet. The vet I go to is 10 times as expensive as the herp vet by my place charges, but ya can't put a price on your animals health ;)

How can I get a sample if she isnt eating??
You just have to be patient, your sample will eventually come out, trust me. :)
You can either wait for it to give you a sample, or the vet can get a sample out of the snake when you are there. I am not sure if its better to wait for the snake to give you one on its own or not though. Anyone? I would assume its better to wait for the snake to do it on its own.

I would definitely wait for the snake to produce a sample on it's own unless something seemed wrong and speedy testing was a priority. It's good to get a stool test done on any snake from a pet store but it's not a huge rush either if the snake is doing well.
As for the price, it will vary from vet to vet. Call around and ask. 35$ alone for a stool test is a bit steep in my opinion but I guess the area you live in will affect this. Some vets will also insist on a general checkup when testing for the first time.
The general checkup isn't as necessary as the stool test if you are an attentive keeper.

Soak the snake in luke warm water and rub his belly, that should help him to go a little faster.
how are you going to start a biz and give the animals proper care if you cant even come up with $35!! your nuts.

If u think $35 is a lot of money then how will u support 20 Ball Pythons?
I think... well I dont know what to think really. I guess you may just be trying to show off or maybe dreaming.. wich is great for your age. yet juging from all your other posts I hope your not serious, I hope you really dont expexct to do this or if you do I hope you dont follow though to the buying animals part. If you mom dident like one then let's face it, she isent going to like 20. and you ARE NOT going to be able to care for that many animals and play and go to school and do homework and all the other things kids you age should do. you cant. not with out your whole famliy helping.
P.S. from what I gathered your parents are divorced (sorry to hear that) and your mom seems to be the one you live with. Well most of the time dads get visatation rights most likely for a weekend at a time if he has no record or other things. so if your mom doesnt like snakes it would be more than diffuclt for her to help you with many of them if she is working and taking care for the house and kids. That alone puts a great stress on her. Even if some how you got her to like snakes there is no way in the world she could help you if she wanted to. I just dont see a logical way for this to happen at this time for you, your age and exprince level aside.
