Has anyone hear used this before? I have one and was going to put it on the bottom of our new pythons enclosure. He/she is in a 15 gallon tank and the heater is designed for 1-5 gallon tanks. We also have a heat lamp that keeps the temps up no problem but it is to hot to use at night, so we want a pad to provide a nice warm spot for him/her. I picked it up because where the python is still a baby the size (4"x8") would be plenty big for him/her and wouldn't increase the temp of the tank to much. Also we have a rheostat that we can connect it to so lowering its temp won't be a problem.

I was just wondering about other people's experiences with it.

I have a few little UTHs that I use for heating small tanks or Rubbermaids. They work just like the big ones. They can get too hot so they must be controlled.
