Took this pic quite a while ago but it resurfaced once again... hehehe... someone actually was sending it to people claiming this to be THEIR "common ground boa"... oh my... Well, nonetheless, it's Mr. Poopypants, my super-agro BCC  Looking forward to putting him together with my older female when I have the space, they always say the mean ones are the best breeders, lets hope it holds true!

Hi Linds

He looks nice, do you have any full body pics of him?
I hope you do get some babies from breeding him to your female.

Take care
Tom

Tom,
Here are a few more I scraped out of my gallery... I don't have any good recent ones, I'm hoping he will behave enough to let me get a few outdoor pics this year... as of lately I can't even release his head without continuous strikes at my face though.....

Last summer...

Hi Linds,

He is very nice looking. If you ever want to sell him let me know.
Here are some things I do with mean boas.

1: I will put them in a pillow case and hold them in my lap for 30 to 60 minutes as I watch
TV. I do this every night for 2 to 3 weeks. Except for when they are eating then I leave them alone for a 2 to 3 days.

2: I put a used t-shirt in there cage. (one that I have worn for a day.)I do this every day for a week or more, this way they will get used to my scent. Eventually they will not feel threaten by my scent. Word to the wise do not use your favorite shirt. Snake poop is no fun to get out of your good shirt.LOL

Take care,
Tom

really so theres hope for my pair?...i got a female bci earlyer this year in hope that she would become a mate for my older male..but, she turned out to be a right wild one and now im wary of putting her in with khan...to this day i cant put my hand in her viv or she'll take it off. will putting her in with khan mean that she might calm down then?

Tom,
Thanks for the kind words and the tips :) I tried to T-shirt thing, and also used to have him out with me while I watched TV or whatnot for 20 minutes or so daily (not in a pillowcase), but he never showed any progress so I just gave up and decided to deal with it  Funny enough he's never even attempted to strike at me while he's in his cage, even if I'm in there changing water or whatever, just the second he's out its continual striking at the face... never anywhere else, just my face  Lucky for me he should finish up small... at 4 years old he's only around 5.5' :p

VenomAngel,
Snakes behave much different with people than they would with different snakes. Your snake views you as a threat and is acting defensive, you are a totally different species. Your snake won't display the same behaviour towards animals of the same species however. There is no reason that a perfectly nasty snake won't be a terrific breeder... and with males, the agressive ones have a reputation for being the best breeders :)
