Has anyone done it, if so how? I read the section in the corns snake maual on it but I'm looking for peoples personal experiences. I had one slug in the middle from the start and I just left it there. Now one has died and anther may be on its way out. My eggs are in vermiculite, temps are 82 and humidity is 80%.
Thanks,
Trevor

I sprinkle a little on the substrate I use for eggs, it doesn't totally prevent fungus but can ****** the development so I can wipe the eggs and control the little that does appear.

Thanks Rev. So sprinkle some on the egg medium now and on the affected eggs or just the substrate or all the eggs and the substrate? Can the foot powder harm the hatchlings?
Thanks,
Trevor

I have used Absorbine JR on eggs before. Before you say I'm crazy, lisen how. If there is a "bad" egg "stuck" to or in the middle of a clutch of good eggs, that is moulding etc. I take a Q-tip soaked in AJ & swab the "bad" egg with it too try & kill what is growing on it & prevent it from spreading to the good eggs. I have even used it on "good" eggs to stop little spots of mold. When ever it (the AJ) touches an egg that I consider possibly "good" still I will swab it again with another Qtip soaked in water to try & take the residue off that might be left from the AJ because I don't think it should be left applied to the good egg. Not nessicarily very good for it. I've found that it has helped mold from spreading & haven't had it cause any problems that I am aware of. I think I orginally got this idea from "The Cornsnake Manual" by Bill & Kathy Love, but am not sure. I reccomend it for keeping "bad" eggs "under control", but don't nessicarily suggest you use it on any "good" eggs. Something I've used a few times before anyhow. Mark I.
