First off that is a gorgous representation of the species. Second what a great photo. Big props to your photo skills on that one. Can't wait to see more!

These are one of the few beauties of the spider world where the photos actually do them justice. This is one of my fav species for colouration.

That is gorgeous! I am not to good with the scientific names for inverts so if someone could tell me what kind that is that would be a big help. Once again...gorgeous simply gorgeous!

Its a Brazilian Giant white knee - Acanthoscurria Geniculata

Giant Whiteknee, Whitebanded tarantula, Santarem Pink Haired, Brazilian Giant Whiteknee, all are common names for the Acanthoscurria Geniculata this is why most collectors use latin names.

It didn'tt cost me a thing it's one ofthis years babies, we had 3 eggs sacs of Geniculata this year. Good point reverendsterlin you will find that using commons names is usles with Tarantula's each supplies will have his or her owen name for the same species.

comparing hair length to body I'd say about 1.5 - 2 inches maybe
