Is my texas brown gonna molt?

I tried feeding her crickets but she lets them just crawl on her and she has her legs over her eyes so I cant see them but her skin is nice and brown ans she already molted march 20th. Is it her time again?:confused:

If she's adult, she's not ready to molt again, I can pretty much guarantee that. Spiderlings on the other hand, molt much more frequently... maybe she's just not hungry?

You can usually tell by lookin at the abdomine if the skin under the urticating hairs is balck then it's shed time. Just a note if your spider doens't take the food right away remove the crickets or preditor can become prey.

Just look at the eyes to see if they are cloudy. (jk!) Sorry I couldn't resist. The Colonel gave some good advice though about removing the crickets!

It sounds from your other post as if you have an adult specimen. If it just molted in March the likelihood of another molt this soon is quite low.

Being that you just brought this one home... My guess, is that you have a stressed out spider.

Give her a week to settle in and relax... let her move around what she wants to move around in her cage to feel relaxed. I also recommend placing the cage somewhere with low lighting and somewhere that the cage will not be disturbed (like a closet) this will also help her relax.

After a week or so try and give her some crickets again and I bet you see a kill.
