Well I just finished setting up a removal perch in my Desert's 33 gallon tank. "Tigre" definitely approved of his new home..He was having so much fun cruisin' the branches that he didn't want eat..He crawled out of his feed tub and headed straight back to his home.. no help required.. I just put him back in and he kept on cruisin'. Here are a few pics I took yesterday.
Enjoy

Here's one of the whole tank setup. "Tigre" uses his whole environment. I have done similiar setups for my Honduran and my Boa. Pics to follow

Although the pic is a little blurry, this is actually the best pic of "Tigre" showing his true colours. All the others make the yellow look white.

Oh how they grow up, this pic was taken shortly after we got him. He won't go in the coconut shell anymore..too small

Very nice! I don't see too many Desert Kings. They should be more popular... :)

Think "Tigre" is a Harley approved product? :) He was quite taken by his reflection in the Speedo

Seems to like the rubber on the grips. A little easier to hold on :)

Very nice I should say. I took some shots 2 weeks ago and 3 are good but my scanner is broken so until I can post these pics I'll just sit and watch. By the name you gave your snake, I guess its a male. If so, then we could have them mate next year cause mine will be ready to mate at that time. Give me some news. Email me so we could settle everything.

Katt: Thanks, Tigre was the one that started it all..he has a special place in our collection. BTW..regarding the info I sent you on the Bairds, I did speak with Shane and gave him the heads up that you might call and yes he will help you out.
Xetox: Thanks.. my snakes come second only to my Harley. Now does that mean that my Harley comes before my wife..hmmmm...better be careful there. ;)
As usual more pics will be in the making. I have a Chocolate phase striped Cal-King and a Chocolate phase banded Cal-King that I have yet to put in front of the lens. However the striped is currently in shed and the banded I just picked up a few days ago and I am giving him a little time to settle in.
Cheers
